Kristin Sabbi is interested in understanding why it takes humans and other primates so long to grow up and in teasing apart the developmental roots of social strategies. As a postdoctoral researcher, she has been working with Dr. Zarin Machanda, Dr. Alex Rosati, and the Kibale Chimpanzee Project, using chimpanzees as a model species to understand the origins of human-like leadership. She is currently a College Fellow in the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard, where she joined the Pan Lab.
